The Gibsons

I have known this beautiful family a little over 4 years now and I was so happy that God blessed Joshua and Rosanna with a precious little girl back in September. I was able to snap these sweet shots this past weekend as this precious one turned 3 months old.

The day of our shoot was a dark, dismal rainy day. I almost canceled but I decided to take up the challenge and make this shoot work. I'm so glad I did! My skills were pushed and I was thrilled to see some fabulous shots of this little family. I was wondering how these pictures were going to turn out, but we caught some glimpses of light and, in turn, captured some wonderful memories.

Such a very special family

I have been BLESSED to be able to photograph this family. For those of you who know the Richards, you know this is a family who love each other and most of all, love the Lord. I've never met a more patient woman than Katherine, who is slow to anger and is abounding in love for her kids, her husband and her God. Mike is truly blessed to have this woman! The children were so good, so focused on taking pictures and when released to "go play", they played with unabashed abandon!

This session was given to them by another sweet family. If you ever want to bless a family, bless them with a photo session. I tell ya what, there is NOTHING like having memories like these...

All I want for Christmas... Kynzi!

I've had the pleasure of photographing this little girl for a year now. It's always such fun to watch children grow and be able to capture brief glimpses of their maturity! I can tell how special Kynzi is to Shannon and Charlie and it's such fun watching these 3 enjoy each other at Christmastime.

The Meffords

Jamie and I used to be in the same playgroup together when our daughters were just babies. Now, 3 years later, her little girl has grown up to be a blossoming beauty and a sweet big sister. Jamie and Mike's little boy is a cutie-pie who loves spiders and superheros...but not as much as he loves his Mommy and Daddy. I really enjoyed watching this family love on each other! As always, it blesses me to be able to capture sweet moments with sweet families.

The Long Family

I've had the pleasure of photographing this family many times over the course of the past few years. This photo shoot was such a pleasure for me, seeing these kids growing up into beautiful children. We planned this shoot at the last minute and I'm so glad we did!!! I can't wait to show you the rest...

Avery's 3rd Birthday Party

I had the pleasure of photographing Avery's 3rd Birthday party which was a lot of wild and crazy fun at Appalachian Gymnastics. Avery LOVES Dora the Explorer, who even came to visit her at the party. She had a great time playing at the gym, eating her cake, seeing her friends, and especially hugging Dora.

The Hess Family

I am so very happy that I was FINALLY able to photograph this sweet family! Dawn and I have been friends for a while now and I can remember her saying for the past year or so "we need to get you to take some pictures for us". We finally got around to it on this BEAUTIFUL fall afternoon!!! This photo session was a year in the making and I was extremely happy to capture some sweet moments with these great friends. The Stewarts

As always, I LOVE LOVE LOVE having photo shoots, especially with wonderful families like the Stewarts. I hope you enjoyed climbing on hay bales, stompin' around an old barn, and enjoying the beautiful fall weather as much as I did!!!

Happy Birthday!

It had been too long since I had photographed a birthday and it was SUCH FUN to be able to document Kynzi's 2nd birthday bash with my camera. It's a joy for me to be a part of these moments of great fun and laughter for the kids and adults alike. I'm so glad that I was able to do this. Happy Birthday, Kynzi!
