The Bells

I love referrals!!! Thank you, Aimee, for referring Shelley and her family to me! I enjoyed getting to know the Bell Family and we enjoyed a wonderful photo shoot on this very, very cold day out at Doe River Gorge in Hampton, TN. Here is a sneak peak of your session and I hope to give you the rest of your photos before Christmas!

Mini Sessions - This Saturday, Dec 6

I have a free Saturday open up in my schedule for some Christmas mini-sessions. I'm free this Saturday, Dec 6, if anyone is interested in having me shoot some Christmas pictures. I know this is short notice for your holiday pics, but I couldn't offer this before now, due to my schedule.

What is included:
1. 30-minute session
2. 10-15 images, edited and enhanced, for you to choose from
3. One digital image file for you to use however you choose
4. One low price - $65

If some of you would like to have the session at the same location, I will only charge $50 per session rather than $65.

Please let me know if you're interested. And spread the word!

Thanks!

Karen - I love taking pictures of your bunch! I couldn't decide which pictures to give you as a sneak peek, so there are several here for your enjoyment. I can't wait to show you your others! Brock and Bryson are just too cute and Karly is just a beaming big sister.

You all are such a sweet family and I'm honored to capture these precious moments of your family growing up!

Insley and her folks

Margaret and John adopted Insley about two and a half years ago and they're now looking forward to starting the adoption process again to add a new little buddle to their family. I had the great privilege of photographing them to provide an inside look at their fun little family in the midst of their application process. Insley is a sweet little girl who loves to play with her birthday cake (and no, it's not her birthday!). John and Margaret radiate with love for Insley and I'm looking forward to meeting their new little bundle in the near future!!! Enjoy this little sneak peak at the pics...

What I've been doing

There are two reasons why I don't have a lot of gigs right now, number one is my daughter Mallory and number two is my son Ethan. I don't market at all, except through word of mouth. I've only had a handful of gigs this year and I'm hoping to start up more in the coming months. I'm not rushing into it because I'm SO enjoying being a mom. I miss photography very much and I really enjoy it when I'm asked to photograph any event. Anyway, I'm hoping to add some specials and more advertising in the coming months.

My son just turned 10 months old and here are some snaps from his photoshoot.

The Hyatts - April 26, 2008

Meet the Hyatts: Scott, Tammy, Emilee (8) and Lyndsee (2). Tammy contacted me after a few accolades from a prior client, who had contacted me from another prior client (who happens to be one of my playgroup moms who had 2 sessions, one for her daughter and one for her twins). It's great to have the word-of-mouth marketing, especially since it really is the only way I really get my name out in the community. But, I'll make another post about that.

Anyway, we spent an hour at the VA having a very fun photoshoot. I learned that Emilee's favorite subject in school is science and that she runs in a "Girls on the Run" program there as well. And my, my, my, did she run! She told me that she fights with Lyndsee sometimes, but you couldn't tell from the way they loved on each other during the photoshoot. Lyndsee was an absolute DOLL and almost always had a smile on her face; well, except for the time she was jumping around and hurt her ankle. I loved seeing Tammy and Scott watch their daughters have fun running and enjoying the beautiful evening, albeit cloudy (a photographers dream!).

Thanks for allowing me to capture a few moments with your family! Enjoy the pictures! Here are a few from the shoot, but you can see all of them here.

The Longs - Feb 23, 2008

Meet the Longs - Brent, Aimee, J. Riley and Ava. Aimee and I met in our playgroup where our children get together with several other moms/kids in our little circle of friends. J. Riley and my daughter are 2 months apart (actually, J. Riley and Kaitlyn (below) were born on the same day!!!) and Ava and my son are 3 months apart. It's nice to get together once a week to let the kids blow off some steam and us moms can chat about everything under the sun. It's a great respite from the everyday life.

Aimee - I'm so glad I could capture these special moments with you and your kids. I hope I can take more pictures as they inevitabley grow up!!!

Kaitlyn - Feb 22, 2008

Meet Kaitlyn. She just turned two years old this past Thursday, the 21st. For her birthday, I snapped a few pictures of her for a special 2-year keepsake. Kaitlyn's parents, Dawn and Rick, are good friends of our from church and we're very blessed to know them. Kaitlyn and my daughter are only two months apart and our boys are only 1 month apart! It's great to have friends with kids the same age as mine!!! Thanks for letting me capture such a fun stage in life!!!
